It’s the top floor, so it’s bright and breezy, with vaulted ceilings and a palm-leaf accent wall that everyone photographs. The lanai faces the water and the setting sun — coffee in the morning, wine at golden hour, whales offshore in winter. We keep binoculars on the shelf for exactly that.
The kitchen is fully stocked, down to the spices and the good coffee, with granite counters and a pass-through window to the dining area. There’s air conditioning in every room, an in-unit washer and dryer so you fly home with clean clothes, and the beach is a short walk across the street. Beach chairs, towels and toys are already in the closet.

The Location
Kihei Holiday sits on almost two oceanfront acres at the calm north end of Kihei, along three-mile Sugar Beach. It’s an easy, flat walk to the sand and a five-to-ten-minute drive to Kihei’s restaurants, grocery stores and the Saturday farmers’ market. Wailea’s beaches and dining are about twenty minutes south; Kahului Airport is roughly forty minutes north.
With the pool, the grills, the laundry and the beach gear all on site, there’s no real reason to leave the property between beach trips.
